We are very proud to announce the 2006 PSU MontCo Scholarship Recipients!

Jessica Yoon

Jessica Yoon has been chosen as the recipient of the 2006 Montgomery County Chapter’s $1,000 Scholarship award.  Jessica is a student in the Schreyer Honors College and a member of the Business Student Council Finance Committee.  She is also involved in the Penn State Investment Association and the Language Science Research Group.

Jessica is from North Wales, PA, and is a past Vice-President of the Kiwanis Educating Youth Club. She has also spent time volunteering at the Montgomery County Association for the Blind. 

Rachel Evans

A resident of Blue Bell, PA, Rachel was chosen as the 2006 recipient of our $500 scholarship. Rachel is also in the Schreyer Honors College and is currently writing an honors thesis on pesticides and the Endangered Species Act. She is very active in Penn State Habitat for Humanity, where she serves on their Executive board.

In Montgomery county, Rachel has spent time working at the agricultural extension where she designed and constructed a demonstration garden for people with activity limitations.
