Fall 2015 Scholarship Recipients Congratulations to Angela Losinno, Caitlin Kushnir, and Victoria Christensen!
Angela, Caitlin, and Victoria were selected as our Fall 2015 recipients of the Penn State Montgomery County Alumni Chapter’s scholarship. They each will receive a scholarship in the amount of $1,500.
Angela is currently a sophomore in the College of Agricultural Sciences majoring in Animial Science. During the school year, Angela is a member of the Pre-Vet Club and Block and Bridle. She was the Pre-Vet Symposium Chair for the 2014-15 year and will be the Social Chair of Block and Bridle for the 2015-16 year. Angela is from Perkiomenville, PA and is currently working as a Veterinary Assistant at Hidden Springs Veterinary Hospital in Zieglerville while also job shadowing at the Patt Veterinary Hospital in Gilbertsville and volunteering at Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown.
Caitlin is currently a sophomore in
the College of
Education majoring in Education and Public Policy. During the school year, Caitlin
is a member of Springfield THON and is a SHOtime (Schreyer Honors Orientation)
mentor. She was also a member of the Rules and Regulations Committee for THON
2015. Caitlin will be the Production Captain for Springfield in THON 2016. She is from
Glenside, PA and is currently working as a Head
Counselor at the Abington Club Kids Camp. She is involved in intramural soccer and also enjoys photography, running, and playing guitar.
Victoria is
currently a sophomore in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences
majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. During the
school year, Victoria is a PPG Undergraduate Research
Fellow and Fundraising Director for the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences
THON. She is on the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences
Student Council and is also the sophomore class representative for the materials science professional society, Material Advantage. Victoria is from Lansdale, PA and is a
volunteer with the Ukrainian Nationals Soccer Club.
